Fees on Solana
Every buy and sell pays the fee chosen at launch, 1.6%, 2.4% or 3.2%, on the curve and in the graduated pool, in the pair.
How the fee is split
| Who | Share of the fee | Of a trade at 1.6% | At 2.4% | At 3.2% |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Meteora | 20% | 0.32% | 0.48% | 0.64% |
| AGI | about 17.5% | about 0.28% | about 0.42% | about 0.56% |
| The token's pot: holders or creator | about 62.5% | about 1.00% | about 1.50% | about 2.00% |
Meteora takes 20%. Of the rest, AGI's part is fixed in the program at 2,187 of every 10,000 units (21.87%), and the token's pot gets what is left. No launch can change the split.
A $1,000 buy of a Solana token 1.6% 2.4% 3.2%
Fee $16.00 $24.00 $32.00
Meteora (20%) $3.20 $4.80 $6.40
AGI (21.87% of the rest) $2.80 $4.20 $5.60
token's pot (the rest) $10.00 $15.00 $20.00
The launch fee
Launching pays 0.01 SOL (about $1) to AGI's publisher key, in the transaction that creates the pool. The fee covers the token's upkeep: fee collections, reward periods, network fees and, if Meteora's keepers have not done it, the move to the graduated pool. A launch that does not pay it is not listed here and gets no reward periods.
Where it goes
- The fee is charged in the pair: from what you pay on a buy, from what you receive on a sell. The snipe fee is split the same way.
- After graduation the locked position in the DAMM v2 pool earns the launch's fee, split the same way.
- The token's pot is paid out as Holder rewards, to the holders or to the creator. What AGI does with its part is under Where the protocol's cut goes.
