Fee schedule and caps

Every trading fee has a hard cap, a constant in the source, and a current setting the owner can change within it.

Hard caps (constants in the source)

Current settings (read from the contracts on 2026-09-21)

  • hookFeeBps = 100 — 1% per swap in a graduated pool, taken by the hook.
  • curveFeeBps = 100 — 1% on every buy and sell on the curve, fixed per curve at launch.
  • protocolFeeShareBps = 3000 — 30% of the base fee to the protocol wallet, 70% to the creator.
  • maxCreatorTaxBps = 200 — a creator can add up to 2%, paid 100% to the creator.
  • snipeTaxStartBps = 9900, snipeTaxSeconds = 5 — the snipe tax at the launch second and its window. The curve trims the start rate so a buyer always keeps at least 1% after all fees: 98% with no creator tax, 96% at the 2% cap.
  • launchFee — 0.0005 ETH, paid to the protocol wallet in the launch transaction.

The owner can change any of them within the caps above; the launch fee has no cap. A change applies only to launches created after it.

How a V2 trade is split

  • On the curve, every buy and sell pays the 1% base fee (curveFeeBps) plus the creator tax (creatorTaxBps, 0 to 2%). A buy in the snipe window also pays the snipe tax.
  • In a graduated pool, the hook takes the same 1% (hookFeeBps) and the same creator tax.
  • The base fee and the snipe tax split 30% to the protocol and 70% to the creator (protocolFeeShareBps). The creator tax goes 100% to the creator.
  • Every share waits in AgiV2FeeEscrow until its recipient claims it.

The DEX

The DEX charges 0.3% per trade, Stock Tokens included, on top of the pool's own fee. On $AGI's own page it is taken in NVDA. See Trading on the DEX.
